WMP pistols are extremely large, designed primarily for knock-down power. These impressive handweapons are capable of knocking an adult Herboven on their ass. Consequently, only very powerful beings can wield them, as the force applied by their discharge is quite significant.

In addition to their inherent damage, if a target is unable to move with response to the blast (such as against an armoured wall) then the discharge force applies additional damage - at the usual rate of 1 stamina per 1000 N. This makes the 16,000 N variant incredibly lethal at 1D+24 damage when the target is immobile (ouch).
