A thug star is a variant of a force beam. Commonly worn on the wrists or ankles, the thug star is activated whenever the wearer successfully makes contact with a target. When contact is made (say a punch or a kick), the thug star produces a quick sharp thrust of force, causing the 1D/2 or 1D of damage.
The thug star can also be configured to be a "force gauntlet" allowing one to hit surfaces without possibility of injury.
