A projectile assault weapon is a simple weapon that requires ammunition.
The discharge mechanism takes a bullet - usually a special ammunition with associated damage and impact characteristics - and propels it with a simple electromagnetic mass driver. Projectile assault weapons use very little energy, thus their power supply will cause negligible damage if it was set to overload.
Assault projectile weapons can store multiple clips of ammunition at once to save the time of reloading. They can store 2 clips for the x3 variant, 3 clips for the x5 variant, and 5 clips for the x10 variant.
