| 4895 | Huge Xoid fleet sited beyond the edge of the second galaxy. There are two waves, one about a year behind the other. Confederation prepares for their arrival. |
| 4897 | Xoids arrive. Confederation loses many of the initial battles. Xoids are able to establish a foothold in the second galaxy. After a few months of holding their position they start to advance. |
| 4899 | Confederation continues to lose ground. Reich starts to establish control - takes a little while though. In the meantime the Xoids continue their advance. |
| 4901 | The Reich surfaces and takes control of the Confederation navy. They retreat a few hundred parsecs and establish a solid line of defense. Xoids are stopped temporarily. |
| 4902 | The Reich enlists the support of the Mercenary Guilds to aid in the fight. They start hit-and-fade attacks against the Xoid fleet. |
| 4903 | Second wave of Xoids catches up with first. They break through the Reich's line of defense and push further into the second galaxy. The Reich retreats and regroups. |
| 4904 to 4938 | For the next 34 years, the Xoids slowly advance, though the Reich and the mercenary guilds make them fight for every parsec they get. |
| 4939 | An immense portion of the Xoid fleet suddenly mobilizes and descends on an unknown system. Abruptly what is theorized to be an enourmous (we're talking really zarking huge here) total conversion power source is detonated. The planet, system, and about 1/16th of the Xoid fleet is destroyed. The Reich uses this opportunity to push back against the Xoids and win numerous battles. |
| 4940 to Present | The Reich and the Xoids are at a more or less stalemate near the galactic core. Neither side has managed to gain any territory against the other. The disputed zone slowly turns into a battle scared, radioactive, debris ridden, area of space. |
